Shanon was wonderful to work with! Besides being friendly, she has a positive attitude, and an easy going personality. She was meticulous in picking out the colors and window treatments for our main living area. She took great care in making sure the choices she picked went with our furniture, flooring, lighting and fit our overall style. We have had many compliments since we completed the project. We will be calling on her again in the near future.

I have worked on two projects with Shanon Munn. The most recent was in the construction of a 4 story beach home 3 hours outside of DC, where she helped to coordinate interior details, finishes, lighting and furnishings. The project had strict time restraints which Shanon managed by streamlining the design/procurement process and with excellent communication. The project was done in a turn-key manner and I was able to walk in at the beginning of summer to a fully furnished home - complete down to the soap pumps being filled. Shanon is a talented and efficient designer; you will enjoy working with her and the beautiful spaces that she creates.

When we built our Richmond home 6 years ago, we asked Shanon to take the interior design to a new level for us. Shanon incorporated new and existing furniture, fabrics, window treatments and art into the design using our chosen color palette and gave us the nudge we needed to add bold color touches throughout the house. Her design vision for our home drew many compliments from friends within the architectural community and won an interior design award.

In our recent cross-country relocation, we have purchased a 1970’s ranch home that requires complete refurbishment. We have gutted the entire house. Shanon’s expertise has proven vital in room layout, incorporating new design elements that will merge the very-open public areas. She has an exciting vision for our home that will transform the interior. We would never attempt this undertaking without her guidance and direction – her insight is invaluable in the many, many decisions involved in a whole home renovation.

I initially engaged the services of Shanon Munn, owner of Ambi Design, three years ago when I decided to reconfigure and redecorate the kitchen/family room area in my 35 year old home. Not wanting to make expensive judgment errors in design, color choices and appliance/furniture expenditures, I decided to seek professional help. Without Shanon's guidance and expertise in all matters - color selections, furniture placement, design, materials selection and contractor confrontations - I could have spent a lot of money, time and energy, but would never experience the oohs and ahs that I have when friends see the finished product. I have subsequently used Ambi Design services for updating the rest of my home and have always been happy with the results. Shanon is a dream to work with; very intuitive in understanding a client's aesthetic desires and helping develop a vision for the finished product. She sees the process completely through in a timely manner. I love my 'new' home, it gives me pleasure everyday. It wouldn’t have happened without Ambi Design.
